  •  The movie is 'Angus thongs and perfect snogging.'
  • After the ident, there is the next scene of her walking by the car, dressed in an olive costume which points out it is a comedy genre.
  • As soon as we see the characters first introduced, the relationships between them are made clear for insistance in this scene she acutally says 'dad' also it is clear he is looking after her as he is driving slowly to watch her.
  • The iconography displayed is that the girl character gestures that sh is very excited to show off her costume.

  • This scene shows that she obviously has turned up to a party of her age and is very differently dressed to everyone else's costume, its the ideology that teen girls are shown with short, revealing costumes and the teen boys are dressed as something more humurous.
  • we interpret that she wants to be different and it comes across as a comedy scene.
  • we notice the different relationships between characters, for insistance the girls on sofa come across more popular and louder as they make a joke and then everyone laughs to agree with them, they appear more socially high status.
  • the setting is an ideology house party with one room of house shown and packed with around the same age group.

  • As the opening carrys on, we see her closer friends as they feel bad about letting her down and seeing that she has been embarrassed, the relationship is more carefree and close.

  • This image is the end of the two minutes, where she is obviously embarrassed. Its the iconography that she does not care and just wants to go home away from everyone.
  • The stock setting of everything and the outside of the house, appears clean and is displayed in a sunny holiday country.
